On another note, do other Weehawken residents have an opinion on the "poop bridges"? I'm referring to the Marginal Hwy bridges that have an abundance of birds hanging out under them and pooping on the pedestrians and vehicles below.
Any thoughts on what we can do to get the town to address this?
My favorite pizza would be a whole wheat or theoretically multi-grained, likely corn crusted, either slightly thin crusted Neapolitan/standard 'Za, never Sicilian...open to mixing in other mild cheeses such as Swiss, Gouda, Havarti...OR deep dish but still whole grain.
Cooked in a wood or brick oven, using the proper high gluten flour, all organic best but relatively incidental, slightly charred crust between crispy & chewy, mildly sweet tomato sauce & puree, & fairly well laden with Italian spices baked in or added, yet never pepper!
I heard there is a great new place in Weehauken!
So it only remains for me to add that if I get to go there from Midtown Manhattan, I would select from their menu the toppings of...
Stewed peppers, any color but green.
Steak.
'Shrooms, always a gr8 umami flavor.
Eggplant would be fitting, extra cheese possibly, & I forget the one more they offered I liked...
And the eternal controversy/slight sweetness & juiciness pairs well with cheese but some Troglodytes it is a Crime Against God & Nature...
